Welcome from Head

There has been a nursery at Sunny Hill for over 20 years. I am proud to have developed it into a thriving and much loved part of the Bruton community since I joined in 2015, and to foster it's strong outdoor ethos.

In partnership with Mrs Finlay, Deputy Manager, our vision is to provide exceptional traditional early years education to children in a beautiful rural setting. Between us we have over 50 years experience of children aged 0-5yrs and aim to support the whole family with their child's development.  We know only too well there are challenges that also come with the absolute joy young children bring. 

The children at Sunny Hill develop the skills I believe are the building blocks to learning and development: being healthy and active, developing friendships, exploring, having ideas and taking risks. The children are able to do this with support from our fantastic staff who are all dedicated to the early years and cherish and nurture every single child in their care.
